Agencies to Follow

CIAAG believes that in order to be an effective advocate you need to understand the political, social and legal climate surrounding the issue. The first step in your advocacy journey is to sign up for email updates from relevant federal agencies. This will enable you to start learning about the various activities taking place with each individual agency.

Learning the different roles and responsibilities of our nation's federal agencies will help you understand how each one fits together into the current day public-private-partnership initiatives that are driving the biotechnology and healthcare industries changes.

Below is a list of the key federal agencies, programs, task-forces, committees, and non-governmental organizations, we recommend all new and seasoned advocates to subscribe to:

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Food and Drug Administration

Health and Human Services
